Meet the Author
Welcome to my web page. New in the published writing world, invite you to join me in my journey in learning about the power of the written word.
As a teacher of English, German, ancient history, journalism, humanities, I also am an archaeologist, a photo archivist, traveler, writer, mother of three and grandmother of eight – these are just some of the different hats I have worn over the years.
My first published historical novel, Journey of the Cheyenne Warrior, began my writing career. At the present time, an editor is reading my novel, The Last Real Cowboy, while I work on the second book in the Native American trilogy. Brave Eagle’s daughter Sunshine married mountain man, Joe Morgan, and began her personal journey. The third book will tell about his other daughter Gentle Woman, whom a Comanche warrior captured on a raid. I also have written a Civil War historical fiction novel -- a story of a real soldier in the Army of Tennessee.
I love to do research and try to blend many fascinating details with true historical events in my stories – along with interesting main characters. I hope you readers and lovers of historical fiction books will follow me on my new writing adventures.
